What it does for your hair

This is a specialist creative-colour system, not a standard toner or dye. The Pure Pigment is a concentrated, semi-permanent warm brown that's mixed directly into the Illuminate Quick Light lightener, so as the hair lightens, the rich brown tone is deposited at the same time, giving custom, dimensional results in the lightened sections. Brown is the one to reach for when you want to add depth, warmth and richness, or to deepen and soften the other shades. Being ammonia-free and enriched with hydrolysed keratin, it's designed to help protect and condition the hair through what is still a lightening process, which matters especially for creative work with multiple steps. The flat-iron activation lets you build and intensify the brown progressively for a bespoke depth of warmth, and with six shades in the range, they can be used alone or intermixed for fully personalised blends.

How to use it

For professional use. Carry out an allergy alert test at least 48 hours before every application (see below). Dispense the required amount of milk_shake Illuminate Quick Light into a non-metallic bowl and add the Pure Pigment Brown, not exceeding 50% of the Quick Light amount (for example, 10ml Quick Light to 5ml pigment). Apply to clean, dry hair on the selected sections, distribute evenly with a comb, then use a flat iron to activate the pigment, repeating the ironing for stronger colour intensity while keeping an eye on the hair's condition.
