Perming Papers

Perming papers, also known as end papers or perm papers, are used to wrap the ends of the hair before winding onto the perm rod. They prevent the hair ends from folding or bending during winding, which would create an uneven curl result, and help to keep the hair smooth and evenly distributed around the rod.

They are a small but essential part of the perming process. Without end papers, it is very difficult to achieve a consistent curl from root to tip, particularly on longer hair where the ends need more control during the winding process.

We stock perming papers in standard sizes suitable for most perming applications. They are used as part of a complete perming setup alongside perming solution, perming rods and a neutralizer, all of which are available in our salon supplies range.
