A bit about us
Revive has been going for nearly 16 years now. We started out in Wolverhampton city centre and built up a loyal following there over the years, before eventually making the move out to Station Road in Codsall. It felt like the right time for something a bit more personal, and Codsall has been brilliant for us.
The salon does everything. Cuts, colour, balayage, perming, Brazilian blow dry, wedding hair, extensions, men's hair replacement systems. We're a small team and we genuinely care about getting it right, which we think shows in the results and the fact that a lot of our clients have been coming back for years.
The team
Matt leads the salon and has been doing this for a long time. His colour work is what most people come to us for specifically. Clients travel from across Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire for his balayage and highlights in particular, and he has a reputation for being straight with people about what will actually work for their hair rather than just telling them what they want to hear.
The rest of the team share the same attitude. You won't be rushed, you won't be sold things you don't need, and you'll leave knowing exactly what was done and why.
What we use in the salon
For colour we use Affinage Salon Professional, and for backwash and styling we use Osmo. Both are proper professional brands and both are vegan friendly, which matters to us. Most of what we use in the salon sits in that category and we have done for a long time, well before it became a marketing point for everyone.
The shop
The online shop came a bit later. Tom, who handles the e-commerce side of things, had already been working in online retail for other businesses for years. When we started thinking about how to grow Revive beyond the salon, it felt like a natural fit.
The idea was pretty simple really. Clients would leave looking great and then not be able to find the products we used at home because professional haircare just isn't on most high street shelves. So we started stocking it ourselves online. We carry Olaplex, Moroccanoil, Amika, Affinage, Maria Nila, Redken, Wella, Schwarzkopf and loads more. The same products that sit on our shelves in the salon, available for anyone to order.
