- 15cm x 35cm size, made from 100% recycled plastic
- Australian-designed and manufactured
Hello Bleach Balayage Board in Burgundy is a professional balayage colour-painting board — the spatula-shaped tool colourists use to hold hair sections while painting bleach or colour during balayage service work, protecting the scalp from product and giving a controlled surface to paint against. Real technical positioning: 15cm x 35cm size (longer and narrower proportion than some balayage boards, suited to specific balayage technique preferences), with bevelled curved edges for scalp-contour fit and control-enhancing teeth for hair gripping during painting. Fits both wide and original foil sizes for coordinated foil-work alongside balayage. Genuinely sustainability-focused construction: made from 100% recycled plastic in pastel colours with minimal packaging — coordinates well with the wider environmentally-focused hair tool direction (alongside Head Jog bio-material brushes covered elsewhere in the range). Australian-designed, made, and packed — real provenance framing for salons who value manufacturing origin transparency. Burgundy colour finish gives deep red-purple aesthetic distinct from standard neutral balayage boards.

How to use
Standard balayage workflow: section the hair per your usual balayage technique. Position the balayage board behind the section being painted, with the curved edge sitting against the scalp for close-to-root work or held further from the scalp for mid-length balayage graduation. The control-enhancing teeth grip the hair section during controlled painting, giving stability while you work bleach or colour through the section. Paint bleach or colour onto the section, working the product from mid-lengths down to the ends with the sweeping motion characteristic of balayage. The board catches product that goes past the section, protecting the scalp. Reposition and repeat across all sections. For combined balayage + foil work, the board's foil-compatible sizing means you can move seamlessly between hand-painted balayage sections and foil-wrapped highlight sections during the same service. Clean the board thoroughly between clients per your salon hygiene protocol — bleach and colour residue should be removed to prevent cross-contamination.
Who it's for
This balayage board is for professional colourists doing balayage work — particularly for colourists who value sustainability credentials and Australian manufacturing origin. We've spent years helping clients in Codsall look and feel their best, and as a working salon, we know balayage is one of the sustained-trend colour techniques of the last decade — its natural sun-kissed graduation reads more considered than traditional foil highlights, and it grows out more gracefully. The recycled plastic construction and minimal packaging appeal specifically to salons building intentional sustainability into their tool choices, and the Australian manufacturing origin gives provenance transparency for salons who value knowing where their tools come from.

For professional and adult use. Between-client hygiene is essential — clean the board thoroughly between clients per your salon hygiene protocol, particularly removing all bleach and colour residue to prevent cross-contamination. Do not use with damaged or scratched surface — clean intact surface is important for hygienic reuse. Store dry and away from bleach/chemical storage areas to protect the board finish over service life. Recycled plastic construction: the board is designed for professional balayage colour work, not for use with acetone or harsh solvents which may damage the recycled plastic finish over time. Keep out of reach of children — small enough to pose a hazard for young children, and typically stored with associated colour chemicals in salon environments. Not for use as a general spatula tool outside its intended balayage-colour-technique purpose.
