Serious violet toning for the coolest blonde. Crazy Color Ultraviolet Anti-Yellow Shampoo is an intense, sulphate-free toning shampoo formulated for super-lightened, grey and bleached hair. Infused with super-strength violet pigments, it helps remove unwanted yellow tones to keep pale blonde, silver and bleached hair looking cool, clean and bright, and it's powerful enough to double as a toner after the bleaching process. 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Gloves are advised, as the pigment can stain.

What it does for your hair

Super-lightened, grey and bleached hair pulls warm and yellow over time, and this shampoo counteracts that with violet pigment, the shade opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so it cancels out the warmth for a cooler, cleaner, brighter blonde. Its pigment is genuinely strong (super-strength), which is why it's so effective and why it can be used as a post-bleach toner, but it also means it's easy to over-tone: on very light or very porous hair, start with a shorter time and build up to avoid an over-toned violet cast. Being sulphate-free, it tones and cleanses gently without stripping fragile, lightened hair.

How to use it

Apply to wet hair and leave on for a few minutes to develop the tone (start with less time on very light or porous hair, and build up), then rinse thoroughly. For a milder effect, use more often for shorter times, or mix with a regular shampoo. As a post-bleach toner, follow the timing guidance for your result. Wear gloves, as the violet pigment can stain.
