Which perm rod size produces which result?
As a general rule, the smaller the rod diameter, the tighter the curl. The 5mm Green rods are the smallest in the Sibel range — ideal for very tight, close curls and ringlet patterns that require the maximum curl from the perm process. For looser, more relaxed wave patterns, a larger diameter rod will give a softer result. Using a mix of sizes through the same perm creates a more natural, dimensional curl pattern.
