SHED Planet Blonde Violet Toning Damage Recovery Conditioner is the essential second step in the Planet Blonde toning-and-repair system, an ultra-violet conditioner that continues the tone-correcting work of the shampoo through the conditioning step for a more complete, lasting cool-blonde result. Formulated with Hydrolysed Soy Protein and Ashwagandha Root Extract alongside potent violet pigments, it helps neutralise yellow, brassy and grey tones in blonde, bleached or grey hair while helping strengthen, condition and revitalise the lengths. Please note a patch test is required 48 hours before first use.

What it does for your hair

Blonde, bleached and grey hair drifts warm and yellow over time, and lightened hair is also more fragile and porous, so it benefits from toning *and* conditioning care. This does both. The violet pigments help cancel out yellow tones for a cooler, cleaner blonde, while Hydrolysed Soy Protein helps reinforce and improve the look and feel of fragile, lightened hair (helping reduce breakage and improve the look of resilience) and Ashwagandha Root Extract, rich in amino acids and antioxidants, helps strengthen the feel of the hair and add smoothness and shine. The result is blonde and grey hair that's not just cooler in tone but softer, glossier and healthier-looking. Because the pigment is potent, toning results vary with hair porosity and how long you leave it on.

How to use it

Patch test 48 hours before first use. After cleansing with Planet Blonde Shampoo, squeeze excess water from the hair and apply to the mid-lengths and ends. Comb through with your fingers for even distribution and leave for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly; for a stronger toning result, leave on a little longer (start shorter on very light or porous hair to avoid an over-toned violet cast). We'd suggest wearing gloves, as the pigment can stain.
