What it does

When you wind hair onto a perm rod, the very ends can bunch, fold or stick out, which leads to uneven, fish-hooked curls. End papers solve that: you wrap the ends in the paper before winding, so they stay flat, smooth and evenly distributed along the rod for a neat, uniform curl result. The premium wet-strength is what matters most here, ordinary paper would go soggy and fall apart once the perm lotion is applied, but these hold together through the whole process.
