OSMO Super Cool Zero Orange Shampoo is an intense, sulphate-free toning shampoo made specifically for salon-lightened brunette and dark hair. Where violet shampoos tackle yellow in blondes, this one uses super-blue pigments to help neutralise the orange, red and copper warmth that darker hair tends to pull when it's lightened, cleansing and toning in one step for cooler, cleaner, more balanced tones.

What it does for your hair

Lightened dark hair fades warm, showing orange and red reflections, and blue pigment sits directly opposite those on the colour wheel, so it helps cancel them out as you wash. The result is deeper tones that look cooler and more balanced, without a separate toning step. Being sulphate-free, it tones and cleanses gently, so it's kinder to lightened hair that can already feel fragile.

How to use it

Apply to wet hair and massage through, then leave on to develop the tone, adjusting the time to how much toning you want (start with less on more porous or lighter areas to avoid over-toning), and rinse thoroughly. Use in place of your regular shampoo as often as needed to keep warmth in check. We'd suggest wearing gloves, as the pigments can stain.
