Moroccanoil was founded in 2008 by Carmen Tal, after a chance encounter with argan oil changed the condition of her severely damaged hair during a trip abroad. The brand takes its name from argan oil, which is sourced exclusively from argan trees native to Morocco. Every formula across the entire Moroccanoil range is built around this ingredient.
