Moroccanoil was founded in 2008 by Carmen Tal, after a chance encounter with argan oil changed the condition of her severely damaged hair during a trip abroad. What started as a single product has grown into one of the most recognised professional haircare brands in the world, now sold in over 65 countries and used in salons by stylists who trust it daily.
The brand takes its name from argan oil, which is sourced exclusively from argan trees native to Morocco. Every formula across the entire Moroccanoil range is built around this ingredient. Argan oil is exceptionally rich in vitamin E, omega fatty acids and antioxidants, which work together to restore moisture, reduce frizz and add lasting shine without ever leaving hair heavy or coated.
What sets Moroccanoil apart from other argan oil brands is the quality of the formulation around it.
