The original Silver Shine Shampoo contains a higher concentration of violet pigment for stronger, more intense toning — best for hair with heavy brassiness or a strong yellow cast. The Light version delivers a softer, more balanced cool tone that's ideal for maintaining an already cool blonde or for hair that's only slightly warm and doesn't need an aggressive toning result. If your blonde tends to go very yellow between appointments, the original is the stronger choice. If you just want to keep a cool, natural-looking blonde fresh, the Light is the better fit.
