What it does for your hair

Lightening lifts out the hair's natural pigment, which is tough on the hair fibre and is what leaves aggressively bleached hair feeling dry and damaged. This additive is designed to help buffer and support the hair through that: the quinoa proteins help reinforce the look and feel of the hair fibre during the service, while premium conditioning polymers help maintain shine and softness, so hair tends to come through the lightening in better condition. It's mixed into your existing bleach and developer rather than replacing them. Worth being clear, though: an additive helps reduce damage, but it can't fully compensate for hair that's already compromised, so proper assessment before the service still matters.

How to use it

For professional use by trained, qualified colourists only. Prepare your bleach mixture (bleach powder + developer) at the appropriate ratio for your target lift, then add 5ml of Safe Lightener Complex per 30g of the bleach mixture and mix thoroughly, accurate measurement matters, as the proportion affects both the protective benefit and the mixture's properties. Apply and process per your standard lightening technique and timing, then rinse and neutralise as usual, and continue with any toning steps.
