Kerapod SilkieSmooth is a professional in-salon treatment, applied by a trained stylist. The process is:

1. Shampoo (Kerapod Smooth Shampoo recommended; a clarifying shampoo isn't necessary)
2. Dry hair to around 80% (damp hair helps the formula penetrate)
3. Apply, starting near the scalp without direct contact, using a sufficient amount without overloading, and distributing evenly with a fine-tooth comb
4. Process for 45 to 90 minutes
5. Rinse to around 80% with water
6. Dry hair to 100%
7. Flat iron in thin sections until the hair shines and feels soft

Retaining a little of the formula on the hair before the final flat-iron helps seal the hair for maximum shine. Always follow the full Kerapod professional directions.
