What does hollow grinding do to a scissor blade?
Hollow grinding removes material from the blade face in a concave arc, thinning the metal behind the cutting edge to create a sharper, more refined cutting angle. The result is a blade that requires less force to cut through the hair — each snip feels cleaner and lighter than a flat-ground blade, and the precision at the tip is noticeably superior for detailed point cutting and fine work.
