Shade 6SB is a dark blonde silver-beige, a cool, smoky, ashy-beige tone that keeps blonde looking cool and counteracts brassiness and yellowing. As a versatile demi-permanent, it corrects, glosses, tones, lowlights, deepens, covers and blends grey, and it's ammonia-free for a gentler service. With Joico's ArgiPlex technology, it helps reduce breakage and delivers up to 2x the shine,* for beautifully conditioned, gleamingly vibrant results.

What it does for your hair

In Joico's system, 6SB is depth 6 (a dark blonde) with an S (Silver) and B (Beige) tone. The Silver is a strong cool, ashy tone that neutralises yellow and brass, while the Beige softens and rounds it out, so 6SB deposits a cool, smoky, beige-ash blonde, perfect for cooling down warmth, toning, adding dimension or blending grey with a cool, natural finish. As a demi-permanent, it deposits tone and glosses without lifting or the harshness of a permanent, so it's brilliant for glossing, toning, colour-correcting (including ombré and balayage), lowlighting and grey coverage, and it fades softly over multiple washes. Being ammonia-free and formulated with ArgiPlex, it's designed to help look after the hair as it colours, helping reduce breakage and boost shine for glossy, conditioned, dimensional colour.

How to use it

For professional use. Carry out an allergy alert test at least 48 hours before every application (see below). Mix with the appropriate LumiShine developer at the ratio specified by Joico, apply to the hair, process for the recommended time, then rinse thoroughly and follow with a colour-safe conditioner. As a cool, ash-based shade, keep it fresh with colour-safe care and, where needed, gentle purple/silver toning, and avoid warm-refresh products.
