The Head Jog 24 Straw Paddle Brush is a lovely, planet-friendlier alternative to a conventional plastic brush. It's made from a bio-material, a polymer derived from renewable biomass such as straw and rice husk, and the production process adds no incremental carbon emissions. The paddle itself has a natural rubber cushion with nylon pins, so it flexes as it works and glides through the hair rather than dragging, and the wide head smooths larger sections in fewer strokes. There's a neat removable sectioning pick tucked into the end of the handle too, handy for taking clean sections and for lifting hair build-up out of the bristles. Lightweight, kind to the hair, and suitable for wet or dry use.

How to use

Start at the ends and work gradually upwards, letting the cushioned pad flex through knots rather than forcing them. Brush from roots through to ends to smooth, and follow with your dryer while blow drying. Use the sectioning pick to take clean partings, and to lift loose hair out of the bristles when you're cleaning the brush.
