- Halo Acrylic Plus Fast Monomer, 250ml (mid-size)
- Professional acrylic liquid — fast-setting mid-size
- Specifically for experienced nail techs
- Pairs with Halo Acrylic Plus powder range
Halo Acrylic Plus Fast Monomer 250ml is the mid-size version of Halo's professional fast-setting acrylic monomer liquid — sits between the 100ml small bottle and the 500ml bulk bottle as the middle-tier size option. Real practical positioning: 250ml suits moderate-volume experienced-tech acrylic salons where the 100ml would need re-ordering too frequently but the 500ml bulk exceeds practical use-by considerations for the service volume. Fast-setting speed remains specifically for experienced nail techs — the size is different, the working characteristics are identical to the other fast-setting sizes. Techs still building acrylic technique should use medium or slow-setting monomer rather than fast-setting regardless of bottle size. Pairs with the full Halo Acrylic Plus powder range.
Key features

- Fast-setting speed for experienced nail techs
- Mid-tier between 100ml small and 500ml bulk
- Pairs with Halo Acrylic Plus powder range
- Also available in 100ml and 500ml sizes, and in medium-setting variant
How to use
For working-station use, decant the required working portion from the 250ml bottle into a dedicated dappen dish. Complete standard acrylic application: load an acrylic brush with monomer, dip into your chosen Halo acrylic powder to pick up a bead, and apply the bead to the natural nail or over a nail tip for extension work. Sculpt and shape quickly — fast-setting monomer gives less working time before the acrylic sets, so speed and precision matter. Once set, continue with next bead as needed to complete the set. Do not attempt to re-work acrylic after it has started to set. Store the 250ml bottle upright, capped tightly, and away from heat/direct sunlight to preserve product quality over service life. Dispose of any waste monomer in a proper chemical waste container rather than general waste.
Who it's for
This mid-size fast monomer is for moderate-volume experienced-tech acrylic salons. We've spent years helping clients in Codsall look and feel their best, and as a working salon, we know monomer size selection matters practically — high-volume salons benefit from 500ml bulk, low-volume salons benefit from 100ml small bottles, and moderate-volume salons often find 250ml the sweet spot. Fast-setting speed remains the specialised choice for experienced techs regardless of bottle size — techs still building acrylic technique should use medium or slow-setting variants for necessary working time.

Critical safety information for professional use: Acrylic monomer contains chemical compounds (typically ethyl methacrylate or similar acrylates) that require proper handling discipline. Use in a well-ventilated area — proper ventilation is essential. Prolonged exposure to acrylic monomer vapours can cause respiratory sensitisation and allergic reactions over time — this is a genuine occupational-health concern for career techs, not a boilerplate warning. Consider proper dust extraction, ventilation systems, or wearing appropriate respiratory protection for high-volume acrylic service work. Avoid skin contact — monomer causes allergic sensitisation with repeated skin exposure, which can develop over months and years of exposure. If monomer contacts skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If monomer contacts eyes: flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek emergency medical attention. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention. Highly flammable — keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and sources of ignition. Do not smoke while using or in the vicinity of monomer. Store upright, capped tightly, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep away from acetone and other volatile solvents. Dispose of waste monomer in a proper chemical waste container per your local hazardous waste regulations, not in general waste. Keep strictly out of reach of children — acrylic monomer is a genuine serious hazard for young children.
