    • Glossify Peely Base Coat, 15ml
    • Professional peel-off base coat for frequent nail changes
    • No acetone removal needed — peels off cleanly
    • Reduces cumulative acetone exposure on natural nails

Glossify Peely Base Coat is a 15ml bottle of professional peel-off base coat designed specifically for clients who change their nail looks frequently. Real distinct category from standard base coats: this base coat is formulated to release cleanly from the natural nail plate, letting the entire gel manicure lift off in one piece without needing an acetone soak-off. Genuine practical benefit for frequent-changers — repeated acetone soak-off (10-15 minutes weekly, over months and years) does cause cumulative dehydration of the natural nail plate, so bypassing acetone entirely is meaningfully gentler on the natural nail for clients who change colour more often than monthly. Not a universal replacement for standard base coat — the trade-off is shorter wear (peel-off gels typically wear 3-7 days vs 2-4 weeks for standard gel) — but a genuinely useful specialist product for the right client profile.

    Key features

    • Professional peel-off base coat, 15ml bottle
    • Bypasses acetone soak-off removal
    • Reduces cumulative acetone exposure on natural nails
    • For clients who change nail looks frequently
    • Trade-off: shorter wear (3-7 days typical) vs standard base coat wear
    • Cures under UV or LED lamp

    How to use

Complete standard prep work: cuticle work, light etching if you normally do this (some techs skip light etching with peel-off base coats to make peel removal easier — technique varies), dehydrator. Apply one thin even coat of the Peely Base Coat with the brush directly from the bottle. Cure under UV or LED lamp. Continue with your chosen coloured gel polish and top coat as normal for the rest of the manicure. When the client wants to remove the manicure, they can gently lift and peel the whole set off in one piece — no acetone needed. If peeling proves difficult, warm water soak can help release the peel-off base coat.

    Who it's for

This base coat is for professional nail techs working with frequent-change clients — clients who change nail colours weekly or biweekly rather than committing to a standard 2-4 week gel manicure. We've spent years helping clients in Codsall look and feel their best, and as a working salon, we know some clients specifically want the flexibility to change nail colour frequently for events, coordinated outfits, or general variety — for those clients, repeated acetone soak-off across many colour changes does genuinely stress the natural nail plate over time. Peely base coat gives a real practical solution that respects their preference for frequent changes without the cumulative acetone exposure. Also suits home users who like changing colours often and want the DIY-friendly clean removal.

For professional and adult use. Peel-off base coats trade wear time for removal convenience — expect shorter wear (typically 3-7 days) vs standard base coats (typically 2-4 weeks). Not the right choice for clients wanting long-wear results. Uncured gel can cause allergic sensitisation with prolonged repeated skin exposure — avoid contact with skin around the nail during application. Cures under UV or LED lamp — see the lamp safety guidance regarding UV/LED skin exposure and photosensitivity considerations. Not for use on infected or broken nail plate — consult a GP for signs of paronychia or nail-plate infection. If peel removal proves difficult and the client attempts to force it, that force can lift layers of the natural nail plate along with the peel — do not force removal, use warm water soak to help release instead. Keep out of reach of children.
