Glitterbels Unbelievabel Gel in Luscious Lilac is a professional, highly-pigmented brush-on gel that does two jobs: rich full-colour coverage on artificial nail enhancements, or a gel paint for detailed nail art. Its high pigment load means beautiful, opaque colour, and it brushes on straight from the pot for easy control, curing to a no-wipe finish under a UV or LED lamp. Luscious Lilac is a soft lilac-purple, lovely on its own or as an accent, and it's part of the wider lilac/purple family in the Unbelievabel range.

What it does

This is a versatile studio staple. As a full-colour gel, it delivers soft, opaque lilac on artificial nails in a thin coat or two; as a gel paint, it's loaded onto a fine detail brush over a cured base for crisp nail art. Lilac is a lovely tone for detail work, it's particularly pretty for floral art (wisteria, lilac blossom, lavender-field motifs), spring and Easter sets, and soft, feminine accent nails. The high pigment load keeps colour sharp and true, it's a no-wipe formula (no sticky layer to clean off after curing), and it's removed by filing off rather than soaking, which suits enhancement work. One important thing: full-colour coverage is for artificial nails only (see below).

How to use it

For full-colour coverage (artificial nails only): complete the artificial nail set through the prep stage. Apply a thin, even coat of Luscious Lilac with a gel brush straight from the pot and cure under a UV or LED lamp. Apply a second coat for more opacity if needed and cure. Finish with a top coat to seal. Remove by filing off.

For detail art (natural or artificial nails): complete your base manicure through the coloured gel stage and cure. Load a fine detail brush with Luscious Lilac, apply your art elements onto the cured base, and cure fully. Finish with a top coat over the whole nail to seal.

Full-colour application is for artificial nails only, this highly-pigmented gel isn't suitable for full-colour coverage on the natural nail plate (detail art on natural nails is fine, as it's limited to small elements). File-off removal only, do not soak off with acetone. We'd suggest a patch test before use, as gel products can cause an allergic reaction in some people, and uncured gel can cause sensitisation with repeated skin contact, so avoid contact with the skin around the nail during application. Cure fully under a suitable UV or LED lamp, work in a well-ventilated area, and avoid the eyes. Do not use on an infected or broken nail. Keep out of reach of children.
