How to use

Complete standard prep work: cuticle work, light etching, dehydrator, HEMA-Free Acid-Free Primer, HEMA-Free Base Coat and cure. Apply Lemon Syrup as the base coat across the whole nail and cure — this gives the amber tortoiseshell background. Using a fine detail brush or a dotting tool, apply Coffee Beans in irregular blob shapes across the nail — vary the shape and size for a natural tortoiseshell look rather than uniform dots. While the Coffee Beans is still workable (or after a partial cure), add small accents of Black at the edges of the Coffee Beans shapes to give the characteristic dark-edged tortoiseshell definition. Cure fully. Finish with a top coat and cure — the top coat blends and smooths the pattern into the classic tortoiseshell finish. Soak off with acetone for removal per standard gel polish routine.
