Like the rest of the Glitterbels HEMA-free range, it's highly pigmented and smooth to apply, giving perfect, even coverage in two coats and curing to a hard, glossy, long-lasting finish under a UV or LED lamp, all without any HEMA.

What it does

HEMA (hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is the ingredient most commonly linked to gel allergy reactions, so a HEMA-free polish is a sensible choice for anyone sensitive to it, and Glitterbels have gone HEMA-free without losing any performance. Birthday Candles is a fun, celebratory pink, and it applies just like any premium gel: richly pigmented for bold, opaque colour, smooth and easy to control, and cured to a durable, high-shine finish. It's removed by soaking off when you're ready for a change. One of seven coordinating pinks in the birthday collection, lovely on their own or mixed and matched.

How to use it

Prep the nail as usual and apply your base coat, curing under a UV or LED lamp. Apply a thin first coat of Birthday Candles and cure, then a second coat for full coverage and cure. Finish with a top coat and cure, then wipe the cured surface with a cleanser to remove any tacky layer and reveal the full gloss. To remove, soak off with acetone following your usual gel routine. Follow the instructions for your gel system and lamp.

Uncured gel can cause sensitisation with repeated skin contact, so avoid contact with the skin around the nail during application, and cure fully under a suitable UV or LED lamp.
