Glitterbels HEMA-Free Dehydrator is a 17ml bottle of professional HEMA-free nail dehydrator used at the start of the prep chain — after filing the natural nail and removing dust, and before primer application. Same product-category function as the standard Glitterbels Dehydrator (15ml) covered earlier — removes surface oils from the natural nail plate to create the clean dry surface needed for gel or acrylic adhesion — but in the HEMA-free formulation for allergen-sensitive clients and for building a fully HEMA-free chain (alongside the HEMA-Free Acid-Free Primer, HEMA-Free Acrylic Liquid, HEMA-Free Base Coat, HEMA-Free Builder-Bel Gel range and HEMA-Free Gel Polish shades). Particularly useful for clients with naturally oily nail beds or clients whose sets are prone to lifting — proper dehydrator prep is one of the most effective interventions for those specific issues.

How to use

Complete your standard prep work first: cuticle push-back and cleanup, light buffing or filing of the nail plate, and remove all dust from the nail surface. Apply the dehydrator to the natural nail plate only using the brush applicator — a thin layer is enough, over-application isn't better and can leave residue. Allow to air-dry (dehydrators air-dry rather than needing lamp cure). Follow with the Glitterbels HEMA-Free Acid-Free Primer, then base coat and gel polish, or acrylic monomer and powder for acrylic work. Store the bottle upright with the cap tightly closed — dehydrators can evaporate faster than sealed if the cap isn't fully closed.
