Glitterbels Extra Long Clear Stiletto tips are traditional plastic nail tips for acrylic and hard-gel extensions, in a long, sharply tapered pointed shape ready for statement sets. This is size 7 in a pack of 50. Two design points worth knowing about: the sidewalls are straight, so the sides of the tip run parallel rather than tapering inward, which is what lets these tips be shaped in two ways, and there's a slight curve on top where the tip meets the natural nail, which is designed to help apex placement when you build the extension. You can wear them straight as stiletto, file the sides slightly to taper them further for a sharper point, or cut the numbers off, file into the sides and turn them into a tapered coffin shape, so one box of tips gives you two shape options. Clear tips are also the right choice for encapsulation work.

How to use

Prep the natural nail. Apply nail glue to the underside of the tip, press into place at the free edge and hold until set. To wear as stiletto, blend the seam at the cuticle line and finish as normal. To shape further as stiletto, file into the sides to taper more. To convert to a tapered coffin, cut off the numbered end, file into the sides to create the taper, then square off the tip. Apply your acrylic or hard-gel product over the top. Follow the instructions of the glue and enhancement product you're using.
