How to use

Prep the nail as usual and apply your base gel or acrylic colour, curing per your usual routine. Apply a layer of no-wipe top coat and cure. While the top coat is fully cured (chrome powders work best over a fully-cured tack-free surface, unlike flakes which apply to a tacky surface), pick up a small amount of powder with a chrome applicator or silicone tool and rub it firmly into the cured top coat until you get the chrome or mirror finish you want. Brush off any excess powder. Seal with a final top coat and cure — the sealing step is important with chrome powders, unsealed powder rubs off easily. Chrome powders traditionally work best over a black or dark base for the strongest chrome effect, though silver/white pearlescent shades like this one may work equally well over a pale or holographic base.
