Headpaint 000 Lift Booster is a clear mixer with no pigment in it at all, which makes it the opposite of the intensifiers. Added to any Headpaint shade, it increases the lift you get and dilutes the tone at the same time, so the result comes out lighter and softer than the shade would give you on its own. Useful when you want a shade to sit a touch brighter, or when the tone is stronger than the client wants, and because it works across the whole range you're not restricted in what you can mix it with.

How to use

Add to your chosen Headpaint shade following the manufacturer's guidance on quantities, then mix with developer and apply as normal. Bear in mind you're changing both lift and tone at once, so a strand test is worth doing if you haven't used it in that particular formula before. Always follow the manufacturer's mixing ratios and processing times, and carry out a skin allergy alert test before every colour service.
