L'Oréal Professionnel Dia Color in Clear is the colourless member of the Dia demi-permanent range, a clear gloss with no pigment, so it adds a beautiful glassy shine without depositing any colour or changing your shade. It's a 92% natural-origin formula with no ammonia or silicone, giving around 6 weeks of glossy results and up to 3x more shine*. Whether you want to add a high-shine glaze to natural or coloured hair, or to soften and dilute another Dia shade, Clear is one of the most useful shades a colourist can keep to hand.

What it does for your hair

Clear is the "no colour" shade in the Dia system, and it earns its place in two main ways. On its own, it works as a clear gloss, deposited over the hair to smooth the surface and add a glassy, luminous, up-to-3x-more* shine, without changing the colour at all, ideal for anyone who wants shine and condition without any tone. And mixed with a pigmented Dia shade, it acts as a dilutant, softening the intensity of the colour for a sheerer, more pastel or more natural result, so it gives colourists control over how strong a tone comes out. Being demi-permanent, it deposits and glosses without lifting, fades softly over around 6 weeks, and, being ammonia- and silicone-free and 92% natural origin, it's a gentle way to add shine or refine a formula.

How to use it

For professional use. Carry out an allergy alert test at least 48 hours before every application (see below). Mix Dia Color with the appropriate developer at the correct ratio for demi-permanent application, following the L'Oréal Professionnel instructions. Apply to the hair, process for the recommended time, then rinse thoroughly and follow with a colour-safe conditioner.
