As a demi-permanent, it deposits tone and blends grey without the harshness of a permanent, making it a lovely choice for refreshing, toning and adding gloss.

Shade 5.71 sits at depth 5 (a light brown) with brown/metallic brown and ash reflects, both cool tones, so this is a properly cool, anti-warmth shade that helps counter yellow and brassiness. Because it's demi-permanent, it deposits colour rather than lifting, so it refreshes, tones and glosses, blends up to 70% grey, and adds a glossy, luminous, true-to-tone finish (with up to 3x more shine*), then fades softly over around 6 weeks. How to use it

For professional use. Carry out an allergy alert test at least 48 hours before every application (see below). Mix Dia Color with the appropriate developer at the correct ratio for demi-permanent application, following the L'Oréal Professionnel instructions. Apply to the hair, process for the recommended time, then rinse thoroughly and follow with a colour-safe conditioner. As a cool, ash-based shade, keep it looking fresh with colour-safe care and, where needed, gentle purple/silver toning to hold the cool tone, and avoid warm-refresh products that would fight the coolness.
