The colour theory behind purple shampoo is simple: violet sits opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so applying violet pigment cancels out the yellow tones in the hair. Fab.ME delivers concentrated violet pigment in a sulphate-free cleansing base, so it tones as it cleanses, and the intensity is in your hands, the longer you leave it on, the stronger the toning. How to use it

Wear gloves to avoid temporary purple staining on your hands. Apply to wet hair and work into a lather. For light toning, leave on for 1 to 2 minutes; for deeper brass correction, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes (do a strand test first if you're new to purple shampoo, and start with less time on very light or porous hair to avoid an over-toned violet cast).
