Colour Undo works by reversing what a permanent colour does. Permanent colour deposits small artificial pigment molecules inside the hair, and Colour Undo shrinks those molecules back down so they can be rinsed away, which means it targets the artificial colour rather than lifting the hair the way bleach would. This is the five application kit, the biggest of the range and the sensible choice for a salon doing regular colour correction, or for very long or heavily coloured hair where several passes are needed to get back to a workable base.

How to use

Follow the instructions supplied with the kit carefully, including mixing, application and timing, and rinse thoroughly and for as long as directed, insufficient rinsing is the most common cause of colour reappearing afterwards. Where colour is stubborn, further applications can be carried out following the manufacturer's guidance on timing between treatments. Results vary depending on the colour history of the hair, so a strand test first is always worth the few minutes it takes. Carry out a skin allergy alert test before use as directed by the manufacturer.
