The BaByliss PRO Snap FX is a heavy-duty cord/cordless clipper built around one clever idea, snap-in blades, which is where the "Snap FX" name comes from. You can swap the DLC blade quickly without tools, which means switching between cutting jobs, or changing to a fresh blade, is a matter of seconds rather than a fiddle with screws. The blades themselves are precision-engineered DLC with a super-sharp V cutting angle for a clean, close cut, and DLC's hard, low-friction coating helps them stay sharp and glide through the hair.

Behind them sits a high-torque brushless motor, which runs cooler and lasts longer than a brushed one and delivers real power and speed for close cutting. The lithium battery gives up to 90 minutes cordless from a 3 hour charge, and it runs corded too if the battery's low. The robust metal housing, magnetic hair-pocket cover for easy cleaning, and dual charging and storage stand round out a properly professional machine.

How to use

Charge fully before first use, or run corded if the battery is low. Snap in your chosen blade, select a comb guide for length, and cut as normal. Empty the magnetic hair-pocket cover and brush out the blade after each use, oil the blade regularly, and store on the charging stand. A dry blade wears far faster and starts to pull, so the oiling is the one bit of maintenance not to skip.
