The stronger solution in Kit 0 ensures the perm takes effectively even on the most resistant hair types. Wunderbar Perm Kit 1 — Natural or normal hair

The Wunderbar Perm Kit 1 is designed for natural, normal hair that has not been heavily chemically processed. It is the most commonly used kit in the range and the one we reach for most often in the salon for clients who want a perm on healthy, uncoloured hair. The formula gives reliable, long-lasting results and leaves the hair in excellent condition after the process.

Wunderbar Perm Kit 2 — Colour-treated or sensitive hair

The Wunderbar Perm Kit 2 is specifically formulated for colour-treated, highlighted or sensitised hair that needs a gentler perming solution. Perming colour-treated hair requires extra care because the hair is already in a more vulnerable state, and using the wrong solution can cause excessive damage or breakage. Kit 2 uses a milder formula that gives beautiful curl results while protecting the integrity of previously processed hair.

Which Wunderbar perm kit do I need?

Choosing the right kit comes down to your hair history. If your hair has never been coloured or chemically treated and feels strong and resilient, Kit 0 or Kit 1 are the right choices depending on how resistant your hair is. If your hair has been coloured, highlighted, bleached or previously permed, Kit 2 is always the safest option.
