As everybody should be aware by now, on the 23rd of March the UK government imposed a full UK lockdown due to COVID-19. This has obviously had a great impact on everybody, Some people have been able to keep spirits high whilst staying confined to their homes due to their safety, Others have still had to venture out every day for work to help others who may have been affected by COVID-19 and it's sad to say that some people are still keeping distant from the general population due to this awful virus.
With the above being said, We're ecstatic to be opening our doors again however, It's not going to be the same as it used to be for some time as we are trying our very best to keep everybody safe during this time until we can finally say "life as normal" unfortunately, normality still seems a long way off. So before any of you enter the salon we'd like you to familiarise yourselves with the new government guidlines that have been put in place for both your safety and our safety.
When will you be reopening?
As you may have seen the government has given hairdressers the go ahead to reopen on the 4th of July (Saturday) We will be reopenning ourselves from the 6th of July (Monday). We have already taken a great deal of bookings over the phone and via our facebook page.

Turning up for your appointment
Please note that it is essential that you turn up to your appointment on time! We are restricting access to the salon and only the client having their hair done will be allowed in the salon so if you are late to your appointment it will push back other clients after yourself.
We are asking that if clients do turn up early to please wait outside of the building as you may know, we don't really have the space available to allow clients to socially distance whilst waiting so it's vital that you turn up on time and try not to turn up overly early unless contacted in advance beforehand.
It is important to come to your appointment wearing your face mask, We know that this is not the best way to have your hair done but these are the guidlines that have been set, if you do turn up without a face mask they are available to buy in the salon, If you choose not to wear a face mask then we will unfortunately not be able to provide service as this is safety for both yourself and the stylist.
There are hand sanitisers throuhout the salon so you can sanitise your hands upon entry, during and upon leaving.
Please remember as well, that due to social distancing you will need to come to your appointment alone, We know that many people int he past will come with family / friends etc... Please note that during this period, we can only allow the client in the salon during their appointment.
We would also like to ask that you please touch as little as possible, we usually encourage clients to touch the products, give them a smell, read the labels etc, It's something that i love doing myself! But during this period, we're please asking that as much remains untouched as possible as this only increases the cleaning time between clients.
Paying for your appointment
Paying for your appointment couldn't be easier, For obvious reasons we are trying to keep cash to a minimum but we do offer contactless payment (Providing its below the threshold) if you don't have contactless though we will still continue to offer the regular chip and pin and we will accept cash need be.
Beverages & Snacks
It's imporant to note that during this we will not be able to offer hot drinks / snacks. We can offer water in a disposable cup but unfortunately for the moment, this is all we can offer. We would also like to advice against eating any snacks in the salon during this time.
What to do if you have symptoms
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 then it's vital that you do not come to your appointment, If you start to show symptoms, please cancel your appointment and we will get you booked back in as soon as possible. We know that this is not ideal but the safety of everybody is our number one priotity and as a service worker dealing with many clients a day, this could be passed on to many people who will then pass it onto others etc...
We would rather have to re-schedule your appointment then find out one of our clients has contracted COVID-19 from our salon.
What we're doing to keep you safe
We have implimented a few things during this time off, The salon has had a thorough clean and all items that do not really need to be on display have been removed from public areas to allow better cleaning between clients.
We have also implimented a stricter cleaning regime between clients and at the end of each day.
You will also notice that all of the furniture in use will now have couch roll placed over it, The couch roll is changed after each client and disposed of safetly.
Stylists will be wearing face masks & visors (Visors during the hot heat of July)
Tools are being cleaned between clients with disicide disinfectant which is an alcohol free, vegan friendly disinfectant.
