Rent A Chair Hairdressing
It has been estimated that there are over 100,000 self-employed hairdressers in England and out of that incredibly huge number it's believed that a good number of those self-employed hairdressers are renting a single chair within a well-established salon, Say, a busy city centre salon within Wolverhampton perhaps? This arrangement mutually benefits both the salon owner and the chair renter. Whilst having a business premises to perform services from it also gives the chair renter the ability to make more money over employment.
There is no reason why chair rental cannot be an incredible opportunity for both the salon owner and chair renter and in this article, we aim to explain what chair rental is, how it works, what our prices are and how you can be part of our team!
So, Let's get right into it.
How Does Chair Renting Work?
In our salon chair rental works on a set fee basis, we charge a set fee of £80 per week... that's it.
Within that £80, we include full use of the salon, storage space, clean towels, clean working area, your information on our website, access to our social media accounts for you to post your availability, and use of the landline for receiving your bookings if you wish to use it.
There are many salons within Wolverhampton that work on a percentage scheme where you will pay a set rate per week or month and a percentage on top of that! We won't believe in this. We're all here to make money and we don't believe in taking your hard earnt cash so we like to think we're very fair with our weekly rate.

Do I Have To Use The Same Products As You?
No, Some salons do like you to use the same brand products that all the other stylists use, We know that every hairdresser is different and one hairdresser might want to use Affinage (Don't blame them) Another hairdresser might be more comfortable using Loreal. It's down to your personal preference! The only thing that we do like is that you stick to professionally branded products and stay with that brand rather than swapping and changing every time. We do of course prefer for you to use the same brand of hair product as us which is Affinage. That way if you ever run out, We will always have the colour available should you require.
Will I Have Set Hours?
No, We will not tell you when and when you cannot be in the salon. We will always advise that you have a set schedule of when you will start and when you will finish and you're more than welcome to use the times stated on our website and google listing, however, after a few months when trust has been built up between us you will be given a key to the building and you will be free to come and go as you please. The building does have CCTV and there is a monitor above the sections within the salon so you can see what is going on around the building.
