Whilst not all Osmo products are vegan friendly, they are all cruelty-free. This product does happen to be one of their products that is actually vegan friendly! You can find a list of vegan-friendly Osmo products here.

Is Osmo Cruelty-Free?

Yes, Osmo is 100% cruelty-free! They do not conduct animal testing on any of their products or any of their ingredients. Nor do they ask anybody to conduct animal testing on their products.

This Product Is Sulphate Free

It's always great news when you see that a hair product is sulphate free! Particularly if you've had any kind of treatment on your hair such as a Brazilian Blow Dry. Sulphates are responsible for the lathering effect that you get as well as cleansing the hair, although some people have recently been voicing concerns over the use of sulphates in beauty products due to their link (but not yet proven) to cancer. Sulphates are known to dry out your hair and have been widely accused of causing skin irritation and irritate eczema. It's also responsible for that sting if you get any shampoo in your eyes when rinsing!

How Frequently Should I Use Osmo Super Silver Shampoo?

We don't recommend this as an everyday shampoo, purely because of how pigmented it is. To our clients who buy this shampoo, we would always say use accordingly but we find that every couple of washes is more than enough. Obviously, if you've just had your hair bleached and you have a yellow band you may want to leave it on for five minutes or so for your first wash, You may also want to use it on your second wash, just to get down the yellow and brassy tones a bit more. Once you're happy with the results though i would personally advise you drop it down to every other wash.

How Do I Apply Super Silver Shampoo?

To apply the Osmo super silver no yellow shampoo to your hair, all you need to do is wet your hair down in the shower, evenly coat your hair with the shampoo leave on for two to five minutes, You can use your own judgement for this. If your hair is very yellow and brassy you may want to leave it on for five minutes rather than just the two. When the time has passed simply wash out then optionally but recommended you can apply the Osmo super silver hair mask for the best results!
